Over 20 Years of Abatement and Precision Manufacturing Expertise

Founded in 2005, EcoSys is a Malaysia-headquartered technology group specialising in abatement system solutions and ultra-high purity contract manufacturing for the semiconductor, solar, and flat panel display industries.

Our abatement product portfolio includes the Marathon, Guardian, CDO and Vector series, delivering advanced gas treatment across all major process modules, from wafer fabrication to solar cell production. Backed by 44 patents and a team of experienced engineers, we serve customers across 10 countries with reliable, high-performance industrial gas treatment solutions.

Headquartered in Penang with a growing presence in India, EcoSys is built to support the world's most demanding high-tech manufacturers.

Our Milestones

Key moments that define us and shape our future

2025

We commenced full operations at our new Simpang Ampat Factory in Penang, a modern facility purpose-built to support the continued growth of both our UHP contract manufacturing and abatement system businesses as we scale towards the next chapter of EcoSys.

2024

Solarvest Holdings Berhad completed its strategic investment in SIW Manufacturing, marking a significant milestone in the Group's development and further strengthening our position as we expanded our abatement system presence into the Indian solar PV panel manufacturing market.

2022

We enhanced our full abatement system portfolio, introducing improvements across our thermal, combustion, and wet abatement systems. That same year, SIW Manufacturing completed the acquisition of EcoSys PLT, consolidating the Group's structure under a single operating entity. We also launched our patented Microwave Plasma abatement technology, rebranded under the current EcoSys identity, and introduced the new 91 Series of abatement systems.

2020

We relocated our operations to a larger facility in Bayan Lepas, Penang, expanding production capacity to support growing demand across our UHP contract manufacturing and abatement system businesses. That same year, we were awarded Pioneer Status by the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) in recognition of our contribution to Malaysia's high-technology sector.

2015

We rebranded the EcoSys range of abatement systems under the current logo, marking a strategic shift towards strengthening our focus on the R&D of abatement systems.

2011

Acquired EcoSys product line of abatement systems, namely CDO, Vector, Marathon and Guardian series and all the intellectual properties

2009

A defining year for the Group. We entered the ultra-high purity (UHP) segment, extending our capabilities to serve semiconductor equipment manufacturers with precision-fabricated components built to the strictest cleanliness standards.

2005

The foundation of EcoSys was established, beginning a journey to become a trusted technology partner for the global semiconductor and clean energy industries.
