Job Summary
EcoSys designs and makes abatement systems: the machines that break down toxic and greenhouse gases coming out of chip and solar factories before they reach the air. We run on our own patented microwave plasma technology, hold 44 patents, and do everything from first concept to mass production in-house, right here in Penang.
Key Responsibilities
- Modelling & drafting: build 3D models and 2D part and assembly drawings in CAD. SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, whatever you know, we'll help you level up.
- Designing real hardware: machine components, sheet metal frames, piping layouts and full mechanical assemblies.
- Making it buildable: own the drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical docs that turn a model into a part.
- Solving problems, not watching: work with senior engineers to fix design issues and improve existing machines.
- Walking the floor: talk to the manufacturing and assembly teams building your design, and learn fast.
Requirements
- Have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related field.
- Just graduated? Great. Internship experience helps, but it's not a must.
- Are comfortable with 3D CAD and can read (and make) 2D engineering drawings.
- Understand the basics of mechanical design and how parts get manufactured.
- Care about details, ask "why" a lot, and enjoy working in a team.
