Job Summary
This role is for an engineer who enjoys the journey from digital CAD model to physical product. You will work under expert guidance to develop the next generation of semiconductor equipment. This is an ideal role for engineers passionate about precision manufacturing and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models and 2D technical drawings for high-precision components, structural frames, and mechanical systems
- Use PLM software (Autodesk or SolidWorks) to manage design data, ECOs, and complex Bills of Materials
- Build and test physical prototypes, validating designs through rigorous, data-driven testing
- Interface with vendors to ensure designs are optimized for CNC, sheet metal, or 3D printing
- Apply mechanical knowledge across various manufacturing environments to drive innovation
Requirements
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in mechanical design. Fresh graduates with strong CAD skills are also accepted.
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proficient in Autodesk (Inventor, Fusion 360) or SolidWorks
- Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes (CNC, Sheet Metal, etc.)
