EcoSys (Malaysia) Berhad has commenced full operations at its new purpose-built factory in Simpang Ampat, Penang, marking a significant milestone in the company's growth and operational capacity.

A Facility Built for Growth

Located at Simpang Ampat, Penang, the new factory spans approximately 24,613 square feet and is fully owned by the Group. The facility brings together EcoSys's ultra-high purity (UHP) contract manufacturing and abatement system production operations under one roof, supporting the company's expanding customer base across Malaysia, Singapore, and international markets.

ISO Class 5 Cleanroom Capability

At the heart of the new facility is an ISO Class 5 cleanroom, maintaining a maximum of 3,520 airborne particles per cubic meter. Production processes carried out in the cleanroom include orbital welding, tack welding, helium leak detection, and particle counting. The facility also operates a controlled non-cleanroom environment for CNC machining, tube cutting, tube bending, and other precision manufacturing processes.

Strengthening Capacity for the Future

The relocation supports EcoSys's plans to expand both its UHP fabrication capability and abatement system production. The company has invested in new fabrication, welding, and testing equipment, with further enhancements planned to support growing demand from customers across the semiconductor and clean energy supply chain.
