Behind every resume dropped at our booth was a person with a plan, and those were the conversations we enjoyed most.

Two days, one booth, and a lot of good conversations. We spent the weekend at the myStarJob Fair 2026 at Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Penang, and now that the banners are rolled up and the booth is packed away, here is a look back.
 

If you walked past our booth, there is a good chance our corporate video pulled you in first. A lot of people stopped, watched, and then asked the same question: So what exactly does EcoSys do? That question is half the reason we love these events. Abatement is not something most people grow up dreaming about, so getting to explain it, and watching it click, never gets old.
 

The People We Met

We spoke with candidates from electrical and mechanical engineering to software, plus plenty of others who just wanted to know more. What stood out was not the resumes, but the conversations. People were thoughtful about what they want from an employer and honest about what they are looking for next. We came away with a clearer picture of what matters to people building their careers today, and a few ideas on how we can be a better place to do that.

A lot of the questions pointed in the same direction: what do you actually work on, and what is it like to work here? That gave us the opening to talk about the projects our teams take on, how people collaborate day to day, and the room there is to grow, whether you are just starting out or further along in your career.
 

What Happens Next

For everyone we have shortlisted, our HR team is now reviewing resumes and will be in touch by email or phone with the next steps. If we had a good chat at the booth and your phone has been quiet, keep an eye on your inbox. Good things take a few working days.
